Breakfast Las Verandas Style

My first day in Roatan, waking up to the sound of waves crashing the shoreline, tropical birds singing in the wind, & the beautiful view, my first thought was… What’s for breakfast?

As I was rushing to put on my sunblock & pack my overly full beach bag, I couldn’t help but to think of all the tropical fruits & beverages they had to offer. After all, I am in paradise!

When I first sat down, my handsome waiter, Robert, greeted me. I glanced over the menu to see what interested me.

Alas, a fruit smoothie? Say it isn’t so! I asked him what kind of smoothies did they offer. His response was the best ever. Watermelon, cantaloupe, banana, coconut, kiwi. Hold on, KIWI! My all time favorite fruit, and it is in smoothie form! Now, I am complete.

I couldn’t resist myself from taking a picture of it.

After he brought me the most delicious creation, since ever, I asked for the fruit plate to start off.  No, usually I don’t have appetizers during breakfast but what the heck, I’m on vacation!

Freshly cut fruit, amazing granola and creamy yogurt, I think I may move here.

I ordered an English Breakfast Tea along with the Honduran Style Breakfast and boy did that fill me up. Two eggs made however you want them, plantains, pico de gallo, refried beans & cheese, I was in a food coma!

I have to say, Las Verandas has made a great first food & view impression. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for my 3 magical days at the resort.

Follow Las Verandas on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see their magnificent property and check them out on their website for more questions and booking your trip to paradise!

XOXO-
